Question:
My images are grainy, how do I resolve that?
Answer:
Images shot at high sensitivity and/or at slow
shutter
speeds may have a grainy appearance. This grainy
appearance is commonly referred to as "noise" and
does not indicate a malfunction with your
camera. This is due to the CCD signal being
amplified
due to lower lighting conditions. When the camera
senses a scene with low lighting, it will use a
higher
ISO to help better expose the image.
To reduce the appearance of noise in your
photographs we advise the following:
1. Shoot at a lower ISO sensitivity.
2. Choose a shorter exposure time.
