Dear Fujifilm Customer,
This notice is to advise you that due to the continued
escalating costs of manufacturing, transportation
and delivering support, there will be a price increase
effective October,1, 2008. This increase affects
labor, parts and transportation rates for Fujifilm’s
Technical Support Services.,
To maintain our commitment to deliver the highest
level of technical service we will be increasing our
rates as listed below:,
Labor Rates Effective October 1, 2008
Standard Labor $145.00 per hour
9:00AM – 5:00PM Monday through Friday
(Not including Holidays),
Overtime Labor $217.50 per hour
5:00pm – 9:00AM Monday through Friday,
Weekend / Holidays $290.00 per
hour,
Emergency Call Charge $150.00,
Zone Charge $72.50 per ½ hour to
maximum of $290.00,
Parts & Shipping
Parts prices for repair and consumable parts will
increase 9%. This increase does not affect
Customers with an active Service Contract that
includes parts and shipping coverage. Our parts
shipping rates effective October 1st are
below:,
Help Desk Support
Fujifilm will be instituting a per incident charge of
$29.95 for Help Desk Support. This charge does not
apply to Customers under warranty or with an
active Service Contract and only applies to call
resolved at the Help Desk. Contracts for Help Desk
coverage will be also be available. Customers not
covered under warranty or Contract will be required
to provide credit card # or purchase order # prior to
receiving Help Desk support.,
