Chemists, Process Engineers, and Production Technicians, we help you through each step of the process to develop and manufacture the finest quality liquid and dry specialty chemicals. Based in state-of-the-art plants and laboratories our research, development, and production capabilities enable you to fine tune formulas, achieve quick turnaround, and develop exceedingly stable products. As a wholly-owned subsidiary of FUJIFILM, we are part of a multi-national corporate family with global reach and resources to deliver solutions worldwide.


Our equipment can quickly be configured to meet a wide range of needs and we can work with customers to obtain specialized equipment as needed. Chemicals are manufactured under agreements ranging from toll conversion to complete manufacturing responsibility.

New chemistries are welcomed and entire new processes have been put in place in less than three weeks.

FUJIFILM Hunt Chemicals Specialty Products Co. offers flexible, new, state of the art hardware adaptable to specific process requirements. There is over 20,000 gallons of reactor capacity both glass and stainless steel. Sizes range up 2,500 gallons. The manufacturing facilities now consist of two completely independent production plants, each with its own utilities and support. We have over 160,000 gallons of bulk storage on premises. Ancillary equipment includes dryers, centrifuges and other dry handling equipment. A partial list of equipment includes:

Expert Staff

Our Process Development and Scale-Up Laboratory is staffed with experienced personnel who are eager to assist in the commercialization of new products.

Our Lab is staffed 24 hours a day for in-process testing as required for each product. When required for initial production runs, full technical support is also provided 24 hours a day.

Experienced operators all schooled in ISO9001: 2000 and ISO14001 requirements enable FHSP to offer its customers the highest quality and consistent service available in the industry.

The FUJIFILM Hunt Chemicals Dayton facility is a growing specialty chemical manufacturing site with a reputation for swift response in meeting our customers' needs. We are dedicated to dependably providing products and services of high quality in a safe and environmentally-sound manner.

The Fine Chemicals operation was launched when FUJIFILM Hunt Chemicals acquired Tennessee Valley Performance Products (established in 1984) in October of 1996. The present site is comprised of 44 acres in an exclusively industrial area.

We have a 22,000 square foot building with multi-purpose manufacturing capabilities, including 20,000 gallons of reactor capability in order to serve our growing customer base. We currently produce chemical products for several Chem 300 companies.

ISO Standards

ISO 9002 Registration was earned in December of 1998 and successful conversion to the ISO 9001:2000 standard was achieved in October of 2003.

We have demonstrated a commitment to preserving the environment by achieving registration to the ISO 14001 Environmental Standard..
