Fujifilm Managed Services is a set of turnkey, high-reliability solutions that encompass software, system management, hosting and disaster recovery.
True to its name, the Managed Services applications were designed to enable Fujifilm to manage Synapse and its related IT functions, freeing facilities to concentrate on the delivery of care. By leveraging economies of scale, Fujifilm is able not only to manage the services, but do so in a very cost-effective way.
Launched last year, Fujifilm's Disaster Recovery (DR) services include many components such as the management of storage rules and disk utilization, performance of backups, and the monitoring of the disaster recovery storage itself to ensure back-up is ready if and when needed. Designed especially for facilities in disaster-prone areas but available and recommended for anyone, Fujifilm's Disaster Recovery system is maintained at an off-site, state-of-the-art facility, with redundant systems and around-the-clock support.
With Intelligent Hosting, Fujifilm can provide a centralized PACS infrastructure, along with all the technical resources and bandwidth for radiology practices, Teleradiology RIS groups, and even mobile applications. Fujifilm provides hosting in a carrier-grade data center. All customers get the benefit of a scalable, high availability environment without the typical capital costs.
Fujifilm provides the non-clinical aspects of PACS administration. Customers who select this service are relieved of typical administration responsibilities, significantly decreasing the personnel resources required. Day to day administration of Synapse is handled remotely by Fujifilm's Managed Services personnel.
