A Cost-Effective Upgrade to Fujifilm FFDM
The Aspire product line delivers the exceptional image quality of Fujifilm full field digital mammography using existing mammography gantry systems.
The high-capacity, multi-plate reader, ClearView-CSm, was developed to accommodate the throughput of up to 80 digital imaging plates per hour from three exam rooms, in addition to providing digital mammography and general x-ray capabilities. High uptime enabled by an independent cassette driver system and a small footprint allows the ClearView-CSm to provide busy environments with 50µm image quality and workflow efficiency.

A high-speed CR reader. The ClearView-CSm employs a four imaging plate (IP) driver that's capable of reading images acquired on both 18 x 24cm and 24 x 30cm-sized high resolution HR-BD IPs. The ergonomically-designed multi-plate unit, together with Fuji's unique high-speed, dual sided digital IP reading technology, will provide a throughput of up to 15 screening exams per hour.1 Even the busiest departments can meet their workflow demands with this system.
Dual side reading with 50-micron sampling. The ClearView-CSm's dual side digital imaging plate reading feature permits acquired x-ray information to be read from both sides of the IP simultaneously. Detective quantum efficiency (DQE) is increased by 100% over standard IPs, resulting in a 50% reduction in noise. And 50-micron sampling provides a spatial resolution of 20 pixels/mm (near 10 lp/mm), delivering clear, crisp images, which are crucial for accurate diagnosis.
Versatile multi-modality capability. Along with high resolution HR-BD IPs, the ClearView-CSm also reads standard IPs for general radiographic procedures. This multi-modality feature makes the unit versatile because it's suitable for digital radiographic applications beyond those for mammography. It can be particularly valuable in a clinic where a single CR reader can be used to produce high definition digital mammography and general radiographic digital images.
An AWS-c technologist console with PEM. The AWS-c console is an integrated patient ID, image review and reprocessing workstation. It provides image processing, image transmission and advanced Quality Assurance tools for detailed image enhancement and adjustments suitable for the image quality requirements of mammography. Advanced Image Intelligence™ image processing includes:
The AWS-cm's Database Sharing option enables centralized image review or access to images from any clustered AWS-c location. When creating a site configuration, plan on one IIPm per mammography unit.
