"FUJIFILM X30, a successor of X20, is a premium compact camera having an EVF with a viewing angle of 25 and 2.36 million organic EL pixels, which are the best in its class. It enables checking imaging information in the viewfinder free of parallax, a limitation of the optical viewfinder. The magnesium die-cast top and bottom are highly rigid and aluminum dials have an excellent feel and touch. While maintaining the power switch linked to the zoom ring, a control ring, tilt LCD, and rubber grip are newly equipped to the camera to make the user enjoy taking photos by looking though the viewfinder."

"Looking for something a bit more advanced? The Fujifilm X30 packs a good sized sensor into a small body with very versatile zoom range. It’s small enough to fit in a jacket pocket and takes some of the best photos that we’ve seen from a point and shoot. With Wifi connectivity, a sharp lens, and lots of manual controls you can’t go wrong with this little camera."

"If you're about a balance of image quality, ergonomics and functions, pricing and style (yes, how a camera looks and feels motivates and inspires us to shoot), then the X30 is a great balance."

"Choosing the Fuji X30 over another premium digital camera comes down to autofocus speed and lens preference. The mechanical zoom certainly makes it easier to frame with the X30. No camera is perfect but this one clearly shows plenty of strength."

"Shooting with the X30 is a pleasure. It starts up quickly, has snappy focus, and brief shot-to-shot delays. Given its Hybrid AF system, I was expecting pretty good subject tracking, and the X30 did very well in that regard."
