FUJIFILM ANNOUNCES ADVANCEMENTS IN ENDOSCOPIC VISUALIZATION, PROMOTES EDUCATION AT DIGESTIVE DISEASE WEEK® 2018

Allendale, N.J., May 31, 2018 (Booth #1015) FUJIFILM Medical Systems U.S.A., Inc., a leading provider of endoscopic imaging solutions, is showcasing its latest innovations at Digestive Disease Week® (DDW) 2018. The company will demonstrate its endoscopic imaging technologies at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington D.C., from June 2 – 5, 2018. For the first time, Fujifilm will exhibit its new 700 Series Endoscopes1, which feature enhancements in usability and visualization, and are compatible with ELUXEO® to provide optimal results in illumination.

DDW 2018 is an ideal conference to debut Fujifilm’s 700 Series Endoscopes. Designed for use with our ELUXEO system, the advanced features help physicians achieve optimal diagnostic and therapeutic results in endoscopic procedures. We look forward to introducing new innovations to over 14,000 industry professionals in a few days,” said Keiichi Nagata, President, FUJIFILM Medical Systems U.S.A., Inc. – Endoscopy.

ELUXEO and 700 Series Endoscopes

Fujifilm’s 700 Series Endoscopes are equipped with CMOS chip-in-the-tip technology for noiseless and brilliant image transmission, as well as the new G7 grip for superior comfort and in daily practice. The new Flexibility Adjuster allows the stiffness of the flexible portion of the scope to be adjusted to the user’s preference. The product’s One Step Connector allows scopes to connect to the light source in just one step.

The 700 Series scope line is designed for use with Fujifilm’s ELUXEO, an endoscopic video imaging system equipped with 4-LED Multi-Light technology featuring Blue Light Imaging (BLI) and Linked Color Imaging (LCI®) special light observation modes. ELUXEO has an extended lamp life expectancy of six years and an intuitive user interface for an enhanced experience. Together, the two products support GI health professionals to achieve improved visualization in image enhanced endoscopy.
