FUJIFILM’S NDT SYSTEMS INTRODUCES HIGH TECH CHEMPACT® POWDER SYSTEM TO ITS PRODUCT LINE-UP
Lighter than liquid, easier and less costly to ship and store
North Kingstown, R.I., January 16, 2014 — Fujifilm’s Non-Destructive Testing Systems, part of FUJIFILM Electronic Materials U.S.A., Inc., adds to its production line-up of superb quality chemistry solutions for stationary and mobile film processing in conventional industrial radiography applications with the ChemPact® powdered chemistries. Formulated for optimum performance with all papers and films, the ChemPact® chemistries provide a cost-effective, convenient-to-use alternative to liquid chemistry for industries including oil and gas, pipeline inspection and field service inspection lab activities that can benefit from ChemPact’s lighter weight, longer shelf life, and imperviousness to extreme temperatures.
ChemPact®, which is a product line offering by FUJIFILM Hunt Chemicals U.S.A., Inc., features vacuum-sealed dry chemistry that ensures long-term stability and 100% freshness, and more than doubles the shelf life of comparative liquid solutions. The dry chemical composition makes ChemPact® impervious to weather-related temperature extremes in storage, transportation and onsite operations. Premeasured in the pack for accuracy, ChemPact® eliminates costly measuring mistakes and mess and also weighs much less than liquid, reducing shipping costs while making it easier to handle. What is more, the system also commands a much smaller footprint than the liquid alternative, freeing up valuable warehouse and onsite workspace.
