New Instant Kiosk Solution Enables Retailers to Offer Unique Photo Products with Virtually No Labor

Valhalla, NY, February 02, 2010 – FUJIFILM North America Corporation today announced that it will display its new GetPix II at PMA 2010. This cutting edge kiosk solution makes it easier than ever before for consumers to instantly create fun products with their digital images. This latest edition to Fujifilm’s GetPix® kiosk line-up offers a duplex print solution complete with a finisher that is capable of automatically folding and binding for on demand, Fun books, Fun cards, and Fun calendars. Consumers are empowered to design and instantly produce fun products and share their images with a new level of creativity.

“Fujifilm is continually developing new solutions that enable the consumer to quickly create fun and exciting high quality products that can easily be shared with friends and family”, said John Meyer, vice president of marketing, Equipment, Imaging Division, FUJIFILM North America Corporation. “As the demand for photo gift products continues to rise, the GetPix II is an excellent solution to meet the customer’s demand for instant photo products.”

The fully automated GetPix II combines Fuji Xerox’s xerographic printing technology and Fujifilm’s proprietary Image IntelligenceTM Technology to create high quality output. In addition to 4”x6” prints, it can instantly produce finished and folded Fun books, Fun cards, and Fun calendars ranging in sizes from 6”x6” up to 5.5”x8.5”. This system, when combined with Fujifilm’s ASK 2500 and ASK 4000 dye sublimation printers, becomes a complete instant kiosk solution.
