Valhalla, NY, February 17, 2009 – FUJIFILM U.S.A., Inc. is showcasing a broad spectrum of imaging solutions at the PMA 2009 Annual Convention and Trade Show under its banner, “Fujifilm. Expand the World of Imaging". Fujifilm continues to deliver unique and creative products and services that can help its customers to maintain and expand their revenue streams, even as the challenges of a tough economy and changing photographic imaging market increase.

“For generations, Fujifilm has delivered innovation and value as a trusted partner to so many retail establishments, professional photographers and commercial photo labs. This year at PMA, we are introducing products and solutions that illustrate Fujifilm’s renewed commitment to the culture of photography,” said Ryutaro Hosoda, President, FUJIFILM Holdings America Corporation and President and CEO, FUJIFILM U.S.A., Inc. “Our exhibit will highlight a complete range of new, flexible and creative products and services that will help our customers generate more revenue through photography. Of special interest will be our new dry printing technology, enhancements to our workflow software and advances in our digital camera technology including our new Super CCD EXR sensor, as well as our exploration in to 3-D imaging.”

Fujifilm will showcase its complete line-up of photo capture, printing, technology and service offerings at PMA 2009 in exhibit booth F130. A summary of those offerings appears below.

Expanding the World of Picture Taking

FinePix Digital Cameras
Following the long line of award-winning FinePix F-series models, Fujifilm is showcasing its latest in high quality picture taking, the FinePix F200EXR digital camera, introducing the world to Super CCD EXR technology. Super CCD EXR technology gives the user professional photographic results. Selectable Sensor modes capture the ultimate image quality in three distinctive ways: Pixel Fusion Technology, delivering high ISO sensitivity with extremely low noise for low light environments; Dual Capture Technology, using different pixel sensitivities for the highest level of detail; and Fine Capture Technology, maximizing full 12-MegaPixel resolution for the sharpest, clearest images. In addition to these advances, with EXR AUTO, the F200EXR recognizes the subject and scene, and automatically decides the optimum EXR shooting mode. The camera combines the best of EXR selectable sensor modes with SR AUTO.

Expanding the popular Z-series digital cameras for young-at-heart, trend-savvy consumers, Fujifilm today announced the launch of the FinePix Z33WP digital camera, Fujifilm’s first waterproof camera. The FinePix Z33WP enables users to capture those precious moments, regardless of the conditions, and share them easily with their extended network of friends and family members. The 10-MegaPixel FinePix Z33WP is available in three striking colors – green, pink and black – and is ready for any adventure including underwater activity up to 10 feet. The Z33WP uses a 3x optical Fujinon zoom lens, features a 2.7”, 230,000 pixels resolution LCD screen – the largest of any Z-series camera yet. The Z33WP includes an innovative SR AUTO (Automatic Scene Recognition) feature that recognizes six different scene types and automatically selects the ideal mode, focus, sensitivity and white balance for truly remarkable pictures.

Another addition to this popular line is the FinePix Z30, the third installment of its Z-series ultra-glam cameras designed specifically for ‘Generation Z,’ the younger, tech-savvy, fashion-conscious consumer. Boasting a 2.7” LCD screen, this 10 MegaPixel camera is available in three hot colors - pink, orange, and black – has a Fujinon 3x optical zoom lens, SR AUTO, and like its predecessor the FinePix Z20, the Z30 can Face it with Face Detection Technology and Blog it with Dual Blog Mode.

In the tradition of the popular and well-received FinePix S1000, Fujifilm presents its successor, the FinePix S1500 long zoom camera, with its Fujinon 12x optical zoom (33mm-396mm equivalent). The 10-MegaPixel FinePix S1500 offers great range and flexibility. Like all FinePix S-series digital cameras, the FinePix S1500 includes Fujifilm's Dual Image Stabilization and SR AUTO modes to easily provide the best quality picture with increased clarity and sharpness, even in low light conditions.

The newest additions to Fujifilm’s popular FinePix J-series line-up also will make their debut at PMA2009. With sleek designs and powerful features, the FinePix J20 and FinePix J250 are great digital camera options that both have SR AUTO. At only 17.4mm thick, the FinePix J20 is the perfect on-the-go camera fitting easily into a shirt pocket or hand bag. Despite its size, the FinePix J20’s black metal body houses a 10 MegaPixel CCD, a 3x Fujinon optical zoom lens and a brilliant 2.7” LCD which displays images with sharpness and clarity. The FinePix J250 boasts a 3.0” high resolution LCD and Fujinon 5x wide angle optical zoom which makes it easy to capture distant objects or large groups at close range.

Fujifilm also will introduce the 10-MegaPixel A150 digital camera. The A150 includes all the necessary features essential to today’s consumer photographers such as a large 3.0” LCD and Face Detection technology, and runs on two AA batteries for convenient replacement.

3-D Photography System
At PMA 2009, Fujifilm will showcase its Real Image System (3D digital camera, 3D digital photo frame, 3D print); an imaging system that marks a complete break from previous attempts to introduce 3D photography technology. Fujifilm’s 3D camera depends heavily on its newly developed "RP (Real Photo) Processor 3D" chip which synchronizes the data passed to it by CCD sensors, and instantaneously blends the information into a single high quality image, for both stills and movies. Special identical high quality compact Fujinon lenses have been developed for the 3D system to ensure complete conformity between the left and right images. The new 8.4-inch, "FinePix Real 3D Photo Frame" with over 920,000 pixels has also been developed.

Instant Film Camera System
Fujifilm will display the recently introduced Instax 200 Instant Film Camera and Instax Instant Color Film at PMA 2009. With its automatically-adjusting flash, high-resolution retracting lens and a big, clear viewfinder, the Fujifilm Instax 200 captures and delivers vivid, high-quality prints in an instant. The compatible Instax Instant Color Film is professional grade and delivers bright whites, dense blacks and vivid colors. Unlike traditional peel-apart instant films, with Instax Instant Color Film, the image develops before your eyes.

Retail & Professional Photo Printing Solutions
A number of Fujifilm instant print products will be showcased at its PMA 2009 exhibit, including its new FUJIFILM Quality Thermal Photo Paper. This new resin coated dye-sublimation thermal transfer photo printing material provides easier handling and prints with the same level of whiteness as silver halide. The paper is optimized for use with Fujifilm’s new ASK 2500 Dye Sublimation Printer, a dye-sublimation printer that offers a maximum print speed of 6.8 seconds per 4x6 print. Together with Fujifilm’s latest version of TS terminal software, these technologies demonstrate Fujifilm’s ongoing commitment to providing retailers flexible and convenient printing solutions to offer consumers photo prints in an instant. Two new software technology demonstrations for the new TS software that will be at the exhibit are Fujifilm Culet and Fujifilm Scroll software. Culet provides consumers with a convenient movie making tool, allowing them to build a slide show of still images, add an audio file and special effects to create a rich presentation. Scroll converts a movie file to a stop-action print highlighting multiple stages of a moving figure in a single frame print. Also on display will be the new GetPix™ Order Terminal “F7” an entry level, print order terminal designed to simplify the print ordering process for customers to provide simple, eco-friendly, and economical print solution.

The standard-setting silver halide Fujicolor Crystal Archive Paper line also will see an addition at PMA 2009 with the introduction of Fujicolor Crystal Archive Professional Paper Deep Matte, a silver halide photographic color paper specifically designed for digitally printed professional photographs. Its unique matte surface makes beautiful prints with great viewer impact. The new paper can be printed on large format digital printers and with the Frontier digital minilab series.

Specialty Photo Printing Solutions
Together with Xerox Corporation, Fujifilm is introducing the Xerox 700 Digital Color Press for commercial and professional photo labs looking to adopt or expand their digital printing business. The color digital press offers production features ideal for specialty photo production. The Xerox 700 Digital Color Press can print photo books, cards, calendars and a variety of products adding to the line-up of products commercial and professional photo labs can offer their customers. To help support the fulfillment of such specialty orders, Fujifilm and Xerox have collaborated to create custom made photo paper for the Xerox 700.

Fujifilm today announced the launch of Excellight™, a display film for use on inkjet printers designed to produce high quality photographic images for both backlit and reflective displays. Suitable for use with both solvent-based and UV-cured inks, Excellight achieves comparable image quality in both day light and night modes, making energy savings possible in daytime use, and the film offers excellent heat and humidity resistance.

Internet-Based Printing Solutions

Online Photo Printing Solutions
Fujifilm’s online photo fulfillment capabilities have been extended using software technology from IP Labs, a German software company recently acquired by Fujifilm. This new technology supports online ordering of photo products, and online photo storage, while delivering an easy to use photo sharing experience. IP Labs has developed unique photo product creation tools that allow the creation of photo collages using multiple images, backgrounds, frames and many other creative, customization options. Fujifilm recently launched, SeeHere.com an online photo services that uses this technology, will be demonstrated in Fujifilm’s booth at PMA 2009.

Future Applications for Online Photo Printing
Fujifilm will be displaying new technology that will allow consumers to order photo specialty products from the Apple iPhone™ or iPod touch™. People using these popular devices can download a special application that provides an interface for creating and ordering customized greeting cards and photo prints directly from the device. Consumers can choose from a broad variety of professionally designed themes, and create attractive cards in seconds. This service has already launched in Germany.

FUJIFILM Corporation and Nintendo Co., Ltd. are collaborating on the Digital Photo Print Channel for Wii™ console, a service introduced in Japan on July, 2008. Through this internet-based photo service, consumers use their game console to edit their photos within the Wii Digital Photo Print Channel environment and can order photo products such as digital photo prints, an original Wii photo book, and an original Wii name card, all fulfilled by Fujifilm. The Wii console has allowed more people to enjoy their gaming experiences together in a public, social atmosphere like a family room, living room, or play room. The Digital Photo Print Channel is currently available in Japan.

Collaboration with Apple and Nintendo represent Fujifilm’s latest efforts to introduce photo printing solutions to new places consumers experience digital imaging. Both of these new applications for online printing will be demonstrated in Fujifilm’s booth at PMA 2009.
